Let’s See Hamilton! – 2018 Lenten Campaign

February 14, 2018

Cabrini Mission Foundation is proud to announce the opening of our 2018 Lenten Campaign. This year we are asking you, our friends and supporters, to donate a Hamilton ($10) to send a child to school for 10 days. Your generous donations will be used for scholarships to Technical Institute La Inmaculada, our Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 school in Managua, Nicaragua.

Can you donate $1 a day to give hope for a child’s future?

Information about Technical Institute La Inmaculada

Technical Institute “La Inmaculada” was founded in 1974 in response to the need for vocational and skills based education in Pochocuape, Managua, Nicaragua. Currently serving approximately 1,250 students and employing 33 teachers, “La Inmaculada” strives to provide comprehensive education directed toward skills learning or preparation for university studies. Staff work diligently to create a learning environment that will encourage young people to be good leaders, professionals, and community members.

Pre-kindergarten through secondary students are served at this school. The curriculum is designed not only to prepare students for higher education, but to allow them the ability to work part time in support of their families. La Inmaculada is the only school of its kind in the area and is dedicated to the formation of good leaders, professionals, and dignified human beings. The primary population served are children and youth with limited economic resources that public institutions often do not reach.
