Each year, the Cabrini Mission Foundation Gala brings together our extended Cabrini family for an evening of gratitude, joy, and hope. More than just a fundraiser, our Gala feels like a reunion—a chance to celebrate community, reconnect with friends, and honor those whose lives and service embody Mother Cabrini’s mission.

This year, we were proud to recognize three honorees whose faith, generosity, and dedication inspire us all: His Eminence Timothy Cardinal Dolan, Felix and Francesca Avitabile (posthumously), and Vincent Iannelli.

Strike Up the Fun: Cabrini Mission Foundation Brings Back Bowling Night Fundraiser

Sisters and attendees all participated in a bit of light-hearted competition, and a few gutter balls, at the much-anticipated Cabrini Mission Foundation Bowling Night Fundraiser. Hosted at Lucky Strike Bowling Alley at the Chelsea Piers in NYC, bowlers got to showcase their talent and play a few games for a good cause, leaving no pin standing.

Cabrini Mission Foundation Hosts Hallmark-Themed Annual Spirit of Christmas Event

Cabrini Mission Foundation hosted its annual Spirit of Christmas party at Hill Country Barbecue Market NY on December 12th embracing the cozy and nostalgic feel of a hallmark Christmas. Attendees came dressed to impress in their best cowboy boots, hats and western attire while enjoying holiday-themed cocktails and finger-licking good BBQ.

Spirits were bright as everyone celebrated togetherness with friends and loved ones while supporting the many selfless efforts of the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The event raised money to fund mental health initiatives for underprivileged children and families, thanks to the help of a special rhinestone cowgirl.

In the end, party-goers laughed and cheered until the cows came home.

Cabrini Mission Foundation Hosts a Night in Codogno at the Annual Gala

Sparkling drinks, candlelight, and laughter filled the room as attendees and Sisters enjoyed “A Night in Codogno.” Held on Friday, October 11th at the Metropolitan Club in New York City, the event was inspired by the rustic charm of Codogno, Italy—the town where Mother Cabrini founded Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus religious order in 1880.

Cabrini Mission Foundation Hosts Private Screening of Cabrini Movie

Many laughs, cheers, and tears, were shared as Sisters and friends joined Cabrini Mission Foundation for a private screening of the Cabrini movie on Thursday, March 7th at the Union Square Regal Theatre in New York City.

Attendees enjoyed artisanal pizza and salads provided by La Lanterna di Vittorio as everyone shared their anticipation for the movie. With fresh popcorn in-hand, viewers got to witness the story of Mother Cabrini on the silver screen. A sneak peak of Andrea and Virginia Boccelli’s new song, “Dare To Be” was shown at the end of the movie.
