A Message from Our President, Sr. Pietrina Raccuglia, MSC
I would like to share some “Good News” regarding our projects and a special grant:
- We have reached our Goal of $10,000.00 towards relief following the eruption of Volcano “Fuego” in Guatemala. With these funds we have partnered with Habitat for Humanity to purchase land and build a home for a displaced family.
- The Pallottine Fathers have awarded CMF a $10,000.00 grant to expand services at Dispensary “San Jose” in Guatemala City, Guatemala. This will include the purchase of an ultrasound machine, the setup of an observation room, and the creation of an urgent care suite.
- The well at Technical Institute “La Inmaculada” in Managua, Nicaragua is nearing completion despite the civil unrest in the country.
I would like to thank everyone for their generous support during these difficult times. Also, I ask that you continue to hold our sisters and brothers in Guatemala and Nicaragua in prayer. Let us not forget to pray for those soon to be affected by Hurricane Florence, especially in the Carolinas, that all remain safe.
