Cabrini Visits the Hamptons

Sister Pietrina Raccuglia, MSC with Francisco De Miranda and Tyrone Grant of Team First

Thanks to the generosity, kindness and hospitality of CMF trustee Vin Iannelli and Janet Guerra, the Foundation had over 40 guests at their lovely home in the Hamptons on Saturday, Oct. 15.

Special guests included Sisters Pietrina, Diane and Catherine as well as fellow Board members Ann Brancato and Dave DeCerbo joined other benefactors as Janet and Vin feted everyone with a “Taste of Long Island Wines.”

Those in attendance listened intently to Sr. Pietrina as she spoke passionately about the need to provide opportunities, especially for children, immigrants and the elderly.

The hosts welcomed their guests and spoke of their deep Cabrini ties and how special the Sisters are to their families.

“We are so grateful to Janet and Vin for hosting such a spectacular day,” said CMF President & CEO Nick Vendikos. “They are so gracious and generous … they are so special. I am at a loss for words on how near and dear I cherish their friendship.”

This was the second in what we hope will be a series of private receptions hosted by Board members and benefactors. If you would like to host a reception so we can spread the word about Cabrini and the Foundation, please contact Development Coordinator, Mike Pimpinella at MPimpinella@cabrinifdn.org or at 212-228-8608.
