2007 Grants
Each year Cabrini Mission Foundation awards grants to programs and institutions supported by the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (MSC), the international religious order founded by St. Frances Xavier Cabrini in 1880. The goal of Cabrini Mission Foundation grantmaking is to have a direct, measurable impact on women, children, immigrants, and the elderly through the provision of high-quality healthcare, education, and social services. Grants made by the Foundation support efforts by grantees to:
- Deepen the expression of the Cabrinian mission and values.
- Develop and enhance specific projects.
- Ensure sustainability of the funded initiative.
Programs and institutions in the Stella Maris Province committed to fostering Mother Cabrini’s legacy of healing, teaching, and caring may apply for Cabrini Mission Foundation grants of up to $30,000. Applications are received and reviewed by the Cabrini Mission Foundation Grants Committee in August, and funding decisions are made by the Cabrini Mission Foundation Board of Trustees in September.
The following funding was awarded for 2007. Funding in the amount of $110,000 was made possible through the generosity and dedication of Cabrini Mission Foundation supporters. Please click here to learn how you can make a donation to the good works sponsored by Cabrini Mission Foundation
